SCIENCE WORLD LOCATION:

Nestled within the 10,220 square meter architecture, Science World, our facility is bright, modern, spacious, comfortable and safe. Being located in this unique geodesic dome, enables us to incorporate several areas of hands on science programs, customized for our students.

Classroom

The classroom consists of readily accessible materials and activities that are cared for by the children. Child size furniture (which is the invention generally attributed to Dr. Maria Montessori) is strategically placed to offer each child a place to concentrate and effectively work at their activity.

Our classroom provides a prepared environment where the children are free to respond to their natural curiosities. The children’s innate passion for learning is encouraged by clear directions and opportunities to engage in purposeful activities with the guidance of a Montessori trained teacher. The classroom will have a mix of ages from 2 ½ to 5. This environment has proven to be very successful and nurturing. The little ones learn from the older children and the older ones learn by teaching the younger ones.

NANIAMO STREET LOCATION:

Nestled between Trout Lake and a neighbourhood full of wonderful families, our facility is bright and welcoming.  Our spacious classroom is almost 2000 sq feet, and leads out to an enclosed play area.  The children enjoy several nature adventures and walks, as we are across from Trout Lake and near 2 playground areas.  At this location we have integrated the science and cultural component that we built at our Science World location, in addition to a focus on Arts and Languages.

MAIN STREET LOCATION:

Nestled between Mount Pleasant Community Centre and Mount St. Joseph’s Hospital.  Our newly renovated facility is spacious and welcoming.  The children will enjoy the large gymnasium at our disposal in the building, as well as the playground facility across from the school.  At this location we have integrated the science and cultural component that we built at our Science World location, in addition to a focus on Languages.
